Inside the Crebrand Patent Design: Materials, Structure, and Purpose
At Crebrand, a makeup brush is more than a shape attached to a handle. It is a sequence of decisions: how the bristles meet the skin, how the ferrule supports the brush head, how the handle balances in the hand, and how every silhouette signals its purpose.
The brush appearance shown in our registered documentation is protected in China under design patent CN 306499814 S. The application was filed on December 17, 2020, and the grant publication date was April 30, 2021. This registration protects the visual appearance represented in the official drawings—including the overall proportions and distinctive structural styling of the brush set.
A registered design, not an empty decoration
A design patent is about appearance. It does not certify cosmetic performance, safety, or medical benefits. What it does establish is that the documented visual design is original enough to receive formal protection. For Crebrand, that matters because the curves, transitions, proportions, and recognizable styling are part of how the product communicates before it ever touches the face.
Materials chosen for the everyday ritual
Appearance gives the collection its identity, while material choices shape the way it feels in use. The Crystal Radiance brush system brings together four visible construction elements:
Fine synthetic brush fibers
The soft synthetic bristles are arranged in purpose-shaped heads for powder pickup, placement, diffusion, and controlled blending. Density and edge shape vary by brush so that a powder brush, eye blender, brow tool, and lip brush do not behave as interchangeable objects.
Reinforced aluminum ferrules
The ferrule connects the bristles to the handle and helps preserve the intended brush-head profile. The aluminum construction keeps the tool lightweight while supporting a clean, polished transition between the fibers and handle.
Textured painted handles
A softly textured finish gives the tapered handle a refined matte appearance and a more controlled feel in the hand. The gradual silhouette is designed to feel visually light while remaining easy to position during detailed work.
Crystal-style accent rings
The light-catching collar is the signature decorative detail of the Crystal Radiance collection. It introduces sparkle at a precise structural transition rather than covering the entire tool, keeping the effect expressive but controlled.
Why every brush has its own purpose
A complete brush system should make a routine easier to understand. Larger rounded shapes diffuse powder across broad areas. Flat and dense profiles buff complexion products. Tapered and angled eye brushes control placement around smaller contours. A spoolie organizes brow hairs, while a compact lip brush refines color at the edges.
The goal is not to create more tools for the sake of quantity. It is to give each repeated gesture an appropriate shape, so the user can move through face, eyes, brows, and lips with less compromise.
